“This game against a very experienced Fide Master-rated opponent started off calmly enough. His move 14…d3 required some careful defending. With his knight on e7 hanging, 15…d2 does not work as I just take 16. Bxd2. But after that, when I had my knight, both bishops, rook and queen all aiming at his king, I saw the attack so clearly, that it played itself. Overall, it was a very pleasing and very smooth sort of game.”
